ACSS Landreth-Blair Grant
The goals of Arkansas Council for Social Studies (ACSS or the Council) include the promotion of social studies education through training of Arkansas teachers, developing materials for use in classrooms, and advising all decision-makers whose influence directly affects the development and practice of social studies curriculum within the state of Arkansas. Applications for this grant will be judged on the basis of meeting these goals. The amount of the grant is set annually by the ACSS governing board. In 2001, the amount was set at $500. ACSS members of one year or longer are eligible to submit applications for a possible grant project relating to the goals of the organization.The deadline for the Landreth-Blair Grant Application is September 30th.The grant application can be found below.

All nominations except 'Friend of Social Studies' and Marshia Coleman Award for Novice Teachers must be a member of ACSS in good standing at the time of nomination.
The R.E.A.C.H Grant from the Arkansas Humanities Council
The Arkansas Humanities Council helps promote the teaching and understanding of humanities in the state of Arkansas. The R.E.A.C.H. grant is a grant that K-12 schools can apply for to help with programs and professional development that focus on the study of the humanities.
